Sarah Clark Artwork
I have always had creative and artistic flare, which was further developed when I trained as an Occupational Therapist: trialling a range of artistic mediums and techniques. This was the start!
I spent my university days working part time, as a picture framer and leadlight window designer/producer. I have spent the last 3 decades founding and working in my small business in Occupational Health, whilst raising three children...so there has been little time to creatively 'let go'...
Over the last 5 years I have pursued my 'Third Act': creating artworks in my beautiful studio, which is built within a vegetable garden at Aireys Inlet on the Surf Coast. I get some of my inspiration from the images that flash by as I ride my bicycle down the Great Ocean Road. I have developed my abstract art into varied 'Series of Works', including: Summer Seeds, Surreal Encounters, Extreme Seasons, Cosmos, Splash, Serpent, Inception and Deep Sea.
My commissioned works are produced in specific clour palates, however each piece of artwork is completely unique and non replicable!
I love working with inks on paper and resins, presenting my works box framed, on canvas or behind perspex... for a funky, industrial look! Some of my works have an analogous colour schemes to create a serene design and aiming to mesmerize the viewer. Others use complimentary clour schemes to make bold, bright statements. This year, I am further developing my monochrome works.
